The Mallet E Lace Mountain Bike Shoe is designed to excel at enduro racing and trail riding. When we wake up in the morning with a big day of trail riding ahead of us, it's important to gear up with the proper shoes and apparel, which is why we're slipping on this shoe before our ride. Crank Brothers' Match Box system offers optimized compatibility for any MTB pedal, and the stiff carbon shank provides efficient power transfer.
The ramp secures easy clip-in and clip-out, along with mud clearance, while the MC1 rubber compound provides low friction for easy exit. The directional angled and spaced toe/heel lugs offer traction while hiking, and the ramped toe provides walkability on steep terrain. The lug depth is designed to absorb pedal pins for secure connection, and the rounded lugs provide abrasion resistance.
A cushioned EVA midsole guarantees optimal shock absorption, and the TPU-reinforced areas provide protection and abrasion resistance. The padded tongue offers protection against impacts. Designed with ventilated lateral mesh windows and a perforated tongue and toe area, the shoe provides breathability. The heel dots offer grip and superior heel hold, while the hidden eyelets contribute to durability and a clean design. The lace pocket adds safety and style.
Crankbrothers clip-in pedals are designed to create the optimal shoe/pedal interface through the Match system. A ready-to-ride pre-installed shim and cleat mean we can head out on the trail right away, and the classic lace closure system allows for easy adjustments.
As for the product details, the shoe is machine washable, and the origin is imported. The sole and outer materials are both rubber. This item is designed together with Crankbrothers pedals, offering a seamless and optimized interface for enduro racing and trail riding.
